Content and IP Policy
Last updated: September 1, 2026
This policy explains who owns what when you use Little Ink Club: the photos you upload, the artwork we generate, and the finished book. It works alongside our Terms of Service. Little Ink Club is a brand operated by Wild Lines Ventures LLC.
1. The photos you upload
You must own or have permission to use every photo you upload. By uploading a photo, you confirm that you have the right to use it for this purpose. You keep all rights to your own photos. Do not upload photos that belong to someone else, or images of people who have not agreed to appear in your book.
2. The artwork we generate
We turn your photo into original black-and-white line art using artificial intelligence. We design our process to produce original, generic artwork and to steer away from recognizable third-party characters, logos, costumes, and brands. We do not create books based on copyrighted characters or trademarked properties.
3. Logos and characters already in your photo
If your photo contains a small logo or brand, for example on a shirt or a sign, our process reproduces only what is in the photo and may simplify it. We do not erase the things your family actually owns, and we never add branded elements that were not there.
A well-known character is different. If someone in your photo is dressed as a famous character, or a costumed character or their toy, plush, or statue appears in the picture, we cannot print that character in a book we sell to you. In that case we redraw them as an original look-alike: your family stays faithful to the photo, and the character becomes our own generic design. The studio tells you when a page has been drawn this way.
Occasionally a photo cannot be drawn at all, either because of this or because it trips our image provider's safety filters. When that happens we tell you plainly and you can choose a different photo. You are never charged for a page we could not deliver.
4. Previews before you order
Until you place an order, the pages we draw from your photos are previews. We make them so you can check every page before you pay, and they carry a Little Ink Club watermark for that reason: the preview artwork belongs to Wild Lines Ventures LLC until your purchase is complete, and the watermark protects it in the meantime. Previews are for viewing inside your account only; please don't copy, screenshot, or redistribute them. The watermark says nothing about your photos, which remain yours throughout. When your payment is complete, the rights in the next section pass to you and your finished book and digital copy are delivered without watermarks.
5. Your finished book
Once your order is paid, the finished book is yours to print, share, and color for personal, non-commercial use. It is meant as a keepsake for you and your family, not for resale or commercial distribution.
6. Our brand
The Little Ink Club name, logo, website, and the design of the Service belong to Wild Lines Ventures LLC. These terms do not give you the right to use our brand.
7. Content we will decline
We reserve the right to refuse or remove any content, and to decline or cancel any order, where the content infringes someone else's rights, is unlawful, or violates this policy or our Terms of Service.
8. A note on AI-generated artwork
Because the artwork is produced by artificial intelligence, results vary and are an interpretation of your photo rather than an exact copy. That is why you can preview every page and ask for a fresh version before you order. We keep improving the process, but we cannot guarantee a specific result.
9. Reporting a concern
